To get to England we had to go to Calgary for our Flight. So once again we had to drive to Calgary but this time in a car. Each time we stopped for the night we had to go find a hotel to sleep at. Along the way we saw even more mountains, waterfalls, lakes and forests. It feels like that’s all that Canada has.
On the way across to Calgary we went past a lot of places. It took us one week to get to Calgary. When we did finally arrive at Calgary we drove around for quite a while trying to find an empty spot at a hotel. Because of the Calgary Stampede there were barely any spots in hotels; they were all taken up. But eventually we found one, a bit expensive but it was a great room. We unpacked all our suitcases out of the car and brought them into the room. Once we’d done that it was time to go find where the airport was so we knew where it was in the morning for our flight.
Out of all the time we’d been in Canada and America, we have seen lots of things; especially animals. We got to see
Turtles, Alligators (I saw the first one), Squirrels, Deer, Elk, Caribou, Bison, Skunks, Armadillo(about 10 or so, dead but recognizable), Raccoons, Ground Hogs, Gophers, Musk Ox, 15 Bears(all black, and they look so cuddly), Salmon, Halibut(but we ate it), Tarpon, Sharks, Vultures, Moose, California Condors, Bald Headed Eagles, Owls, Chipmunks, Mountain Goats, Otters, Whales, Beavers, King Crabs, Box Crabs, Octopus, Lake Trout, Fox, millions of Mosquitoes, Rabbits, Bats, Alaskan Mushing Dogs and Killer Whales.
